Roman Quarry "Kriemhildenstuhl"

The Kriemhildenstuhl is a former Roman quarry located in the forest area of the Palatine district town of Bad Dürkheim (Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany). It was operated around 200 AD by the 22nd Legion of the Roman army, which was stationed at the military base in Mainz, approximately 60 km away.
For my project, I scanned the quarry using drone footage and ground-based photographs to create a detailed 3D model, which I then integrated into Unreal Engine 5.
The reconstruction is part of a prototype for an interactive museum exhibition, aiming to make archaeological heritage more accessible through modern technology.
